Dr. Robert Richmond, Director of KML, Dr. Ruth Gates, Director of HIMB, and Dr. Mark Hickson, Professor of Marine Biology, talked with Jay Fidell on Think Tech Hawaiʻi about their research on coral reefs and the reef ecosystem.

They also discussed the importance of bridging science to policy to help address the threats facing our coral reefs, and how the upcoming 13th International Coral Reef Symposium can serve as that bridge to share knowledge gained through scientific research with policy makers, resource managers, and the public.
